The operation of Evropa focuses on our consumers and their wishes. In order to realize them we have always nurtured the quality, safety and control.
In the last 10 years, in addition to the investments in the infrastructure, Evropa has made great investments and efforts in implementing the world class standards which guarantee safe and high quality products.
In 2003, as one of the first companies in Macedonia, Evropa began the implementation of the HACCP standard. The confirmation for the successful implementation is the certification which was acquired in 2004. Ever since, many successes have been achieved that indicate the continuous improvement of the company.
2009 was definitely a year of quality because of the fact that in that year the system ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management System) was integrated, a system which integrated the quality management system HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), the prerequisites for control and reducing the hazards in the food safety at an acceptable level and the standard ISO 9001:2008.
The certification was made by the prestigious certification house SGS, Switzerland on June 2, 2009. Since then, three more annual controls and one re-certification have been made in 2012 by the accredited certification house TUV Austria, which is another indicator for the continuous improvement.
By implementing the ISO 22000:2005 system in Evropa, the production of safe confectionery products was enabled, also the constant maintenance of the sanitary –hygiene protection of the products, the continuous education of the employees, investment in knowledge, new technology and development and monitoring the world wide trends in the confectionery industry. The system adds great meaning to the conducting of the traceability from purchase of the raw materials to the end consumer.
However, our improvement does not end here. Just like in the previous two cases during the implementation of HACCP and the ISO 22000:2005 standard, Evropa is also one of the first food industries in Macedonia which implemented and certified the IFS in 2013.
The IFS (International Featured Standard - Food) is a private standard for control and safety of branded food products, in order to enable the assessment of the quality system and the safety of food of the suppliers of all members of the German Trade Association and all other merchants which require this standard.
